M.Com Extension Activity – 2025

The Department of Commerce organised an extension program at GPS, Heggala Mrs. Drishya, HOD of the commerce department, and Mrs. Malini B.M Assistant Professor, led the group of 25 students from I & II M.com to the school at 10.00 am. The program was meticulously planned by the Commerce Department and flawlessly executed by the first &Second year M.com Students. These students volunteered their time and sponsored water purifier, Stationery, and prizes, significantly contributing to the event’s success. Upon their arrival, Mrs. Kamala, the Headmistress of the Government school, warmly welcomed everyone, explained the purpose of the visit, and ensured smooth execution. The students distributed all the sponsored items followed by entertaining games, with the prizes awarded to the winners. refreshments were also provided to all.

The program’s response was overwhelmingly positive, with more than 17 students actively participating. The children expressed their happiness and requested future visits. Mrs Drishya expressed gratitude to everyone present, acknowledging the initiative of the students. The school management thanked the organizers and requested the continuation of such programs in the future. The students from the Commerce Department (PG) and the primary school children enjoyed spending time together. Overall, the extension program proved to be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
