BBA Industrial Visit – 2025

The industrial visit commenced as planned, from the college. Upon arrival at the factory, the students underwent a safety check and received a detailed briefing on the necessary safety measures to be followed throughout the visit.
The students were divided into two batches for the factory tour. The HR team demonstrated the various processing segments and provided a comprehensive explanation of the processes involved in forging and machining components within the manufacturing plant. They also briefed the students about the company’s suppliers of forged, machined, and assembled products, catering to industries such as Earth Moving & Construction, Railways, Defence, and Automotive.
During the visit, the students observed key stages of production, including:

  • Hot Forging: Hammer, Upsetter, and Press Lines
  • Precision Machining & Finishing
  • Die Design and Manufacturing
  • In-house Heat Treatment

The interactive session allowed students to ask questions, enhancing their understanding and making the visit educational and engaging.
Conclusion:
The industrial visit to GRS Engineering Private Limited provided students with invaluable exposure to the dynamic working environment of a high-tech manufacturing company. Through this experience, they gained insights into industry processes and identified the critical skillsets required for various professional roles.
