Excursion 2024

The Department of Business Administration organized a five-day excursion from June 1st to 5th, 2024, to Kodaikanal, Ramakkalmed, and Munnar. The primary aim was to blend learning with leisure, ensuring students had a well-rounded experience. On the first day in Kodaikanal, the group visited Moir Point for breathtaking views, explored the peaceful Pine Forest, and experienced the Guna Cave. The Pillar Rock offered dramatic cliffs and viewpoints, while Kodaikanal Lake provided opportunities for boating and cycling. The day concluded with an overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
The excursion proceeded from Ramakkalmed to Adimali via Wagamon on the second day. The group visited the Kambam Grape Farm, enjoyed an exciting off-road jeep trekking adventure, and viewed the historical Kuruvan Kuruthi Statue. The scenic drive through Wagamon’s lush landscapes added to the day’s experience, with an overnight stay in Adimali marking its end.
The third day focused on Munnar’s attractions. Students visited the Photoshoot Point, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, and Top Station, each offering beautiful views of the Western Ghats. They also explored Munnar’s tea estates, taking in the region’s stunning natural beauty.
Outcome: The students gained valuable educational insights and cultural experiences. The trip promoted teamwork, and cooperation enhancing their personal development. Overall, the excursion effectively achieved its goals, impacting the students’ academic and social growth.
