BBA Industrial Visit 2023

The visit to Coromandel Sugars Limited on 5th December 2023 proved to be a highly enriching experience for the group of 27 students from the 3rd BBA. The primary objective of the visit was to gain valuable insights into the sugar manufacturing process and the overall functioning of the industry.
Commencing at 10:00 a.m., the visit began with an informative overview of the factory’s history, production capacity, and its significant role in the local economy. The expansive facility was divided into dedicated sections, each playing a crucial role in different stages of sugar production.
The tour was initiated with a detailed processing of raw materials into finished goods. A visit to the packaging unit highlighted the final steps of refining and packaging, with a strong emphasis on adhering to food safety standards and quality assurance measures. The guide ensured a comprehensive understanding of the entire production cycle.
The visit provided a complete understanding of the sugar production process, combining theoretical knowledge with practical insights.
