International Women’s Day Celebration 2022

On account of International Women’s Day, the Women Empowerment cell in association with IQAC organized the celebration on 8th March 2022, at College Auditorium.
Mrs. Suma Chithra Banu was the Chief Guest for the programme, she enlightened the gathering about women’s empowerment in various fields.
The keynote address was given by IQAC coordinator Mrs Trupti Bopanna, she spoke about the theme of World Women’s Day 2022 “Gender equality for a sustainable society”.
Rev. Fr. Rony Ravikumar, Principal of St. Anne’s Degree College, talked about the power of women over their own lives inside and outside the home and her ability to effect change.
Rev. Fr. Madalai Muthu, Correspondent of St. Anne’s Institution wished all the female students, and lady faculty members and presented a rose for all the lady faculties as a token of respect.

As a part of entertainment, various cultural events and games were conducted for lecturers and students. Overall it was a motivational and fun-filled celebration in the college.
