Understanding Postal Schemes for Ladies

The Women Empowerment Cell of St. Anne’s Degree College organized an insightful session on postal schemes specifically designed for the benefit of female staff members. The event took place on March 27, 2023, at the F2 Classroom, with Mr. Subramanya serving as the knowledgeable resource person.
The objective of the session was to empower women with knowledge about various postal schemes available and aimed at providing financial security, independence, and growth opportunities.
Mr. Subramanya explained the benefits of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), Post Office Monthly Income Scheme (POMIS), Public Provident Fund (PPF), Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS), Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and MUDRA Loan scheme emphasizing how it supports women entrepreneurs in starting or expanding their businesses.
Finally, Mr. Subramanya addressed queries and provided guidance on choosing the most suitable financial instrument based on individual needs and goals.
