The “Youth Red Cross” is a constituent of the ‘Indian Red Cross Society’ (Karnataka), which is part of the ‘International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement’. It is a voluntary organization dedicated to protecting human life and health, and providing relief during disasters and emergencies.
The YRC of the college was initiated to enhance and enrich students’ understanding of humanitarian values and humanity. Students from all disciplines are members of this unit, with 32 core members selected for this academic year. Various events are conducted under the guidance of the program officer, Ms. Vileena Gonsalves, Lecturer, Department of Business Administration.
OBJECTIVES

• Promoting awareness of voluntary blood donation.
• Promoting national and international peace.
