The Department of Hindi organized ‘Hindi Diwas’ on September 14th, 2023. ‘Hindi Diwas’ is indeed an important event that highlights the significance of the Hindi language and its rich literary heritage. Activities like ‘Shudd Ucharan’ (correct pronunciation) and ‘Doha Vaachan’ (recitation of couplets) are great ways to promote and encourage the use of Hindi among undergraduate students.
It’s commendable that the principal Mrs. Trupti Bopanna, Mrs. Deepa C.A., the Department Head, and Mrs. Shashikala, Assistant professor showed dedication in organizing the event. The involvement of judges, Mrs. Cristina Lecture from St. Anne’s P U College and Mr. Muneer from St. Anne’s High School adds value and impartiality to the event’s proceedings.
The participation of around eighty-five students demonstrates the interest and enthusiasm for celebrating and preserving the Hindi language and its cultural heritage. Such events not only promote linguistic diversity but also create awareness about the importance of Hindi in our multicultural society.
Overall, it sounds like a successful and meaningful ‘Hindi Diwas’ celebration, and it’s important to continue such initiatives to foster the love for the Hindi language and its literature among students.
